AKEEMO – Official Rental Policy Handbook

These policies govern all vehicle rentals operated under Akeemo. By renting a vehicle, all renters agree to
comply with the following rules, procedures, and operational standards.

 

1. Rental Eligibility

Renters must be at least 21 years old, possess a valid U.S. driver’s license, complete identity verification,
and meet Akeemo approval requirements.

2. Pricing & Payment

Rental rate is $60 per day with flat pricing. Payments are billed weekly and must be paid before the next
rental period begins. Failure to pay may result in termination of rental.

3. Security Deposit

A refundable $300 security deposit is required prior to vehicle release. Deposits may be applied toward
damages, excessive cleaning, unpaid tolls, tickets, or policy violations.

4. Late Payment Policy

A 24-hour grace period is provided after payment due time. After the grace period, a $50 late fee applies
plus $25 per additional unpaid day. Vehicles may enter recovery status after 48 hours of non-payment.

5. Late Return Policy

A 30-minute grace period applies for vehicle returns. 30 minutes–2 hours late: half daily rate charged.
2–24 hours late: full daily rate charged. Over 24 hours: additional daily charges and recovery procedures
may begin.

6. Fuel Policy

Vehicles must be returned FULL of fuel. If not returned full, fuel replacement cost plus a service fee will be
charged.

7. Mileage Policy

Unlimited mileage is permitted for normal driving and gig work use within approved regions.

8. Authorized Use

Vehicles may only be driven by the approved renter. Prohibited uses include racing, towing, off-road
driving, illegal activity, or subleasing the vehicle.

9. Cleanliness Policy

Vehicles must be returned in reasonable condition. Standard cleaning fees may apply. Excessive cleaning
or smoke removal fees may be charged when necessary.

10. Damage & Accident Reporting

Any accident, damage, or warning indicator must be reported immediately. Failure to report incidents may
result in renter financial responsibility.

 

11. GPS & Tracking Disclosure

All Akeemo vehicles are equipped with GPS tracking devices for safety, asset protection, and recovery
purposes.

12. Key Delivery & Lockbox Access

Keys may be delivered directly by Akeemo or accessed through approved lockbox systems when
in-person delivery is unavailable. Renters are responsible for securing keys at all times.

13. Parking & Fleet Operations

Vehicles may be staged or parked at approved partner locations, including Regus facilities or designated
fleet parking areas.

14. Tickets, Tolls & Violations

Renters are responsible for all tolls, citations, and violations incurred during rental. Administrative
processing fees may apply.

15. Maintenance Responsibilities

Akeemo handles scheduled maintenance and mechanical issues. Damage caused by negligence or
misuse remains renter responsibility.

16. Vehicle Recovery & Termination

Akeemo reserves the right to terminate rentals for policy violations, unsafe operation, or non-payment.
Recovery procedures may be initiated in accordance with Texas law.

 

These policies are subject to updates. Continued rental use indicates agreement with all Akeemo policies.
